Item 2.  Identify an adult volunteer from your team that is available for at least 4 hours of the tournament day (and/or night before for setup) and have them sign up for a role via the   General/Team Volunteer self-assign link available soon for Silicon Valley Championship –   expected 2/22 evening

 

Item 3.   Prepare pit “decorations” / team costumes / and team give-aways for Kids Choice Awards!    Kids Choice Award Categories   (same as last year!)

Item 4
. Provide team photo (in PNG, GIF or JPG only)  – this will be published in the tournament program.

Item 5. Provide robot picture (in PNG, GIF or JPG only) – this will be published in the tournament program.

Item 6. Provide team overview of about 300  characters. Include information such as any team sponsors,  your robot’s name (if there is one) and the team’s project title or specific senior issue – this information will be published in the tournament program.   If you list team member names, please do not include full names of team members – first name only is fine.  

Item 7. Provide soft copy of Team Profile (Editable PDF).  MS Word Team Profile Form

Item 8. Provide as text, a project title  (2 to 6 words) and a short project abstract (25 to 40 words) explaining the specific challenge issue that your team picked for their project – this should be very short.  These will be handed to the project judges.

Item 9. Provide an Emcee team intro as text. This would be 1 to 3 fun items about the team as well as any sponsors – please include a note if the team is a rookie team or if not, how many years that the team members have participated in FLL. This information that will be given to the emcee and team announcer

 

 

When all items are received  [technically this is really only items 1,2,4-9  – item 3 is not something to “send”],  the team’s Pit Number  is posted on the team status table.    This allows you to know your team’s detailed schedule for the day.
