NorCal FLL Program Policies for 2014  

 

NorCal FLL Tournament Cancellation Policy   (originally published on 11/5/2009 - updated for 2014 season per FIRST requirements related to YPP compliance)

 

Starting in 2011, we will have a "two tier" of tournaments.  We may need to move back to 3 tiers in some districts  - probably by 2014 season  (or later, depending on growth in each district).  

 

 

Tournament Advancement Policy   - teams advance between levels by being well rounded teams according to the Champion's Award criteria as published by FIRST 
Team Tournament Feedback Policy - teams only get game scores and judging feedback based on rubrics
Team Tournament Participation Policy - basically, one tournament per team

 

Tournament Volunteers:   All tournament officials including the referee and judge crew must  be adults  [post high school] that are not affiliated with any 2014 FLL team in any way - ie parent, sibling, funder/sponsor, relative, current teacher, coach, mentor, etc     Official Volunteer Policy
