A few teams have asked about how to intrepret the Regional Schedule  ( GIF PDF ).  All 3 regionals will use the exact same schedule where teams are randomly assigned into a specific pit number.

Each team has 2 primary activities in the day:  Judging and Robot Game.

There are 3 parallel panels for the 3 “types” of Judging.

P1, P2, P3 are the designators for the 3 panels of Project Judging.

T1, T2, T3 are the designators for the 3 panels of Teamwork Judging

D1, D2, D3 are for Robot Design Judging.

There is also a “Bye” maked with a “-”  where the team does not have a specific judging slot.

There are 3 table pairs of Compettion Game Tables and teams will have 1 practice round and 4 scored competition rounds.

There is a Red pair,  a White pair and a Blue pair.

R1, R2 designate which side of the table pair of the RED Pair that the team will compete on for that specific match

W1, W2 designate which side of the table pair of the WHITE Pair that the team will compete on for that specific match

B1, B2 designate which side of the table pair of the BLUE Pair that the team will compete on for that specific match

The schedule is designed to give each team a minimum of 20 minutes in between activities plus not have the same game competitor more than once and to also move tables to minimize any table/model imperfections affecting the team.

All Judging sessions are 10 minutes with the judge panel and 5 minutes “outside”  –  so every 15 minutes, the team will enter a judging room when they go for judging.

All Robot Game rounds are on 10 minute cycle times which should leave adequate time for the team to get set up  (plus the allowed time for sensor calibration),  run the match for their table pair, score the round and do table reset.
