Just a word about privacy/safety.  We would strongly encourage the kids to limit specific identifying info such as full names, school, addresses, ages or similar.

What is a web colophon?  Web colophons include information about the site itself. This could include statements of known limitations, fonts used and other technical details [and] might identify the designer including  the software used and customizations.  Basically, the  colophon information should enable someone else to produce a website similar to the look and feel of your site.
